It’s just so good to go out for lunch again. The Wellington Arms had barely reopened after its long, and much appreciated, refurbishment before Covid closed it down, again. So, it’s a double-delight to see its contemporary-but-cosy interior buzzing again with diners. The food is great and the staff are professional, welcoming and happy, guiding diners around an unobtrusive one-way system. Maybe the highest praise is to say it was easy to forget about any limitations and simply enjoy good food in fine company. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner.
