We offer a range of services from pure venue sourcing to accommodation management, team building and event support. There are no geographical boundaries to our search.

Venue Sourcing

We offer a free venue search service for a complete range of requirements: non- residential or residential; large or small; from 1:1 meeting rooms to space for 2,500 or more. We cover the needs of all sectors; IT, charities, counselling, training, NHS and others.

We take a detailed brief from you, combining your requirements for ambience, setting, logistics etc. with our 30 years’ experience of event management and sourcing. We then hit the phones to track down the perfect venue.

We check availability – not just dates, but also the capacity, shape and flow of meeting rooms and, if required, the availability for any bedrooms.  We negotiate the best possible rates and hold the space on your behalf with no commitment to you until you are ready to contract.

We will arrange site visits and continue to support you from the final venue choice to the event date and beyond, if required.

 

Accommodation

We can book bedrooms for single or multiple night stays, in the  UK or internationally, using live availability data.

We offer a personal service, tailoring our recommendations to your specific requirements.

Accommodation Allocations

If you are holding an event but do not want risk contracting to unused delegate bedrooms, we can help. We will work with you to secure allocations bedrooms in local hotels. We will manage the release date and control of these rooms on your behalf.

We can offer a booking solution that allows delegates to individually pay for accommodation as part of a group booking, thereby limiting your financial exposure.

 

 

Team Building

Social distancing doesn’t mean neglecting your team. We can help design a Covid-19 safe activities such as: Socially distanced picnics, virtual wine tastings, quizzes or even magic shows.

We can also introduce you to a  specialist team- building company that can complement your conference requirements or as a stand-alone event.

 

 

Why use Finding Venues

We are an independent agency.  Once we start a search we will, where available, offer a choice of 3 venues as a minimum, with the focus being on finding the best venue for your event.

If your requirements change, we are happy to carry out a new search until you are comfortable with the venue option and happy to proceed.

Our service is free of charge to our clients.  Venues pay a small commission fee for each confirmed booking they receive through Finding Venues.

With 30 years spent in all aspects of event planning, operations, management and booking, Janet brings her passion and unique blend of sharp-end and back-office experience to support your venue search.

The Slate, Bangor

Sometimes in this business you come across a little gem that reminds you that, beyond the multi-national chains, there are still wonderful, small, independent hotels.

One of these is The Slate, http://www.theslate.co.uk , a small 11 bedroom hotel in Tal y Bont, Bangor, Gwynedd.

The Slate is a beautifully decorated property in tones of grey and mauve is incredibly restful after a day exploring the local area.

The food in the Tavern or Restaurant is amazing and the Welsh Breakfast certainly sets you up for a climb up Snowdon or visit to Anglesey.

The owner and his staff are so welcoming and are a lovely reminder of what hospitality should be about.
