I recently stayed in the Telford Golf and Country Hotel and it was wonderful to be able to get away from the 4 walls of my house, which have been all I have seen since March.

I love travelling and seeing different places and the hotel stay ,enroute back from Bangor, Wales where I had dropped my son for University ,was just what I needed to remind me that we need human interactions and new experiences.

Yes, I was nervous, but I knew hotels have taken great measures to be awarded Covid- 19 Secure accreditation and you could not fault the hotel staff or systems in place. From check in to check out the procedures were faultless, (Bedroom, dinner and breakfast) and for a short 24 hours, I forgot that the world of travel has been distributed and relaxed.

I am now planning my next escape.
